My Vietnam Visa - Reviews

September 30, 2008

Thanks to the open travel policy of Vietnam, visitors now can apply for a so-called visa on arrival (VOA). Travellers can apply for their entry visa online and pick up their visas at Vietnam international airports. After checking through travel forums to find out a good service provider for this type of visa, we found My Vietnam Visa a reliable agent to start with.

It is being recommended by forumers at Tripadvisor, GapAdventures, LonelyPlanet, Flyertalk, Travelfish and also recommended by Lonely Planet veteran author Robert Reid.

Their price is posted clearly on website, and we found it reasonable among others. One of our editors emailed them, and we almost received an  immediate response. one positive thing is that they also offer online secure payment through credit/debit cards.

Our Overall Rating: 8/10
Price: 8/10
Responding speed: 8/10

The service was better than I expected!!
I asked for the urgent process cause I didn’t have enough time to wait for the regular service and the letter arrived just in time.
I had some doubts while asking for the letter and doing the payment and they answered all the e-mails that I sent!

    Thumb up for them.

I went thru myvietnamvisa. The process was painless. Including the charge for the letter ($20USD), it was less expensive than going thru the embassy.
The airline was a little confused by no visa in the passport. Telling them that I was prepared to be put back on the next plane to the US did the trick. Print the letter in color. You want the red stamp to show up.

Be sure to have exact change ($25USD) when you arrive at the airport. This will avoid any possibility of “Sorry, I cannot make change” ;-)

Got something to say?
